The Brief and Meaningless Adventure of Hero Man
My game doesn't look anything like that, though. The main character might have the same name but there's no resemblance at all.

Mostly! Just about everything you see here was custom. The castle and mountains are re-colors.
Hero Man's sprite was more or less custom, though I used a similar sprite for reference.

The problem is when Isabelle finishes her dialogue (After "Please follow me"), she will stand still and my characters won't be able to move or do anything.

Rest assured that the grammatical mistakes will be addressed. As far as mapping goes, I will put forth my best effort to improve the quality of the maps before the game's release, though I do admit that I am still in the learning process of making them.
Some of the dialogue will be (and already has been) rewritten in the final build to give the characters a bit of "oomph" to make them stand out more. I don't recall using "It's just a demo" as an excuse for the quality, but I will keep your advice in mind.
I'm sorry that the demo was an overall negative experience for you. I hope you'll enjoy the full game when it comes out. Thank you for taking the time to play the demo!

Pretty solid title. I've played about thirty minutes so far and I like the sense of humor and the emphasis on plot.
I just want to point out that there are a LOT of spelling errors, which put a bit of a hamper on the experience. You might want to get those tweaked in the next build.
That aside, it's been enjoyable so far. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it!
